As a person with extremely sensitive teeth, I dread going to the dentist. It is always painful. I heard good things about Dr Nelson and decided to give him a try. Glad I did!
The hygienist was gentle yet thorough and even offered warm water to rinse with. She used a special toothpaste that left my teeth feeling clean and kept taking breaks to make sure I was ok. I was on the end of my chair the whole time waiting for "the zing" and it never happened.
They measured the amount of recession and bone loss as a baseline for future visits. Dr Nelson came in and looked at everything and asked if I had any questions or concerns. He took time to explain things and asked numerous times if he was explaining things well. It feels like a very "relational vs transactional" office.
