Replacing a Loose, Drifting Tooth with a Same-Day Bridge

This patient came in with a front tooth that had become loose and had started to drift out of position due to gum disease. Left untreated, a tooth in this condition often continues to shift and eventually needs to be removed, so we moved forward with extracting the tooth and replacing it with a 3-unit bridge.

To make sure she was never without a complete smile, she left the same day wearing a temporary, so there was no gap and no visible sign that treatment was still underway. Once ready, her final bridge was completed in-house, closing the space left by the drifting tooth and blending naturally with her surrounding natural teeth in shape, fit, and shade.

The result is a smile that looks whole and healthy again, without the instability that gum disease had caused. This case is a good example of how a same-day temporary paired with a custom, in-house final bridge can turn a loose, drifting tooth into a seamless, long-term solution.
