This patient came in with failing upper teeth that could no longer be saved. To keep her comfortable through the extractions, she was placed under IV sedation and has no memory of the procedure. Her failing upper teeth were extracted, and she left the same day with a full upper denture already in place.
This case shows how IV sedation can make full-arch extractions and same-day denture placement a smooth, stress-free experience rather than an overwhelming one.
