Dr. Nelson is here to help you through your dental emergency

Are you having dental pain, jaw pain, or facial swelling caused by a bad tooth?  Has a tooth fractured, a filling fallen out, or a crown come off?  Have you had trauma to your face that has moved or displaced a tooth?  All of these conditions are considered dental emergencies, and our office is happy to help you during all of these scenarios.

What should I do if I'm having a dental emergency?

Call our office at (336)760-1277 to schedule an appointment to have your emergency evaluated.  We prioritize scheduling same-day appointments for dental emergencies, and we will see you even if you have not been to our office in the past.

What should I do if I'm having a dental emergency and the office is closed?

Call our office and listen to our voicemail.  The message will give you our emergency phone number which will forward you to our on-call doctor.  You will be able to discuss what is going on and form a plan with the doctor for your necessary treatment.

What will you do during my emergency dental visit?

Our goals during your visit are to get you out of pain and provide a permanent fix for your teeth. Dr. Nelson will complete a thorough exam and take any needed x-ray images to fully diagnose the problem.  The doctor will then discuss the issue and offer you various treatment options to resolve your issue.  At the end of the appointment, if your issue requires follow-up or additional treatment, a future appointment will be scheduled.

What should I do if I'm nervous for my visit?

Blake is an expert at dealing with nervous patients.  They will fully explain everything to you before completing any treatment and they are always as gentle as possible.  If you think you will need additional methods to stay comfortable, we dan discuss options such as nitrous oxide (laughing gas) and dental sedation.
