This patient came in with failing upper and lower teeth that could no longer be saved. Rather than facing a long, difficult extraction process while anxious or uncomfortable, she was placed under IV sedation and has no memory of the procedure. Her failing teeth were extracted, and she left the same day with a full set of dentures already in place.
This case shows how IV sedation can turn a major dental event, full extractions and same-day denture placement, into a smooth, comfortable experience rather than a stressful one.
