Sedation Dentistry for Fearful Patients

- Oral Sedation — Oral sedation is given through medication taken an hour prior to the appointment. You'll need a ride home after treatment with oral sedation due to the nature of the medication.
- IV Sedation — Dr. Nelson is licensed to provide medication intravenously, which he can adjust as needed during treatment. The medication keeps you responsive, though you'll feel like sleeping. You will need a ride home and should plan to take the day off after treatment with IV sedation.
